Marathon Training

When you are an individual who has begun a marathon training session you really need to remember a number of different things. First of all marathon training is a discipline and it requires discipline to get to that place where you can run all those miles successfully. Second of all marathon training is an art. If you are approaching marathon training strictly from one single standpoint and you're not contextualizing the many different variables which can come in to play. Third of all marathon running is a sport; you need to remember that whatever the case is when you are doing a marathon running, running a marathon is really to get to the end. You're not trying to beat anyone else, you're not trying to break any records, you're not trying to destroy any competitors, you're just trying to finish.

While in some hearts and minds we may all want to win a marathon at some point in our lives, the real story was marathon training is just to get to the point where you can finish the race. For this reason a marathon training programs are fairly straightforward but are also able to take into account the many different variables which can be thrown at you including weather, uphill, downhill, racing in the crowd, racing ahead of the crowd, racing behind the crowd, and anything else that could alter your marathon experience.

If you don't maintain a regular training regimen so that you can give yourself some kind of a regular routine than your marathon training schedule will just be all out of whack. Training for a marathon does require a great deal of discipline and you should even have a marathon training plan. For example if you can't do X by a certain date, then you need to train harder. And if you can't do Y by an even closer to a then maybe you should consider dropping out of the marathon. You don't want to hurt yourself and you don't want to fail as you may never give it a shot again.

But you should make sure that your marathon training is tailored to who you are and what you are doing so that you can be the best that you can be.
